Accessibility

Last updated: May 2026

At The Seen Collective and Witnessed Retreats, we believe meaningful experiences become more possible when people are allowed to arrive as whole humans - with different bodies, identities, needs, capacities, and ways of moving through the world.
We are committed to creating experiences that are thoughtful, inclusive, and increasingly accessible, both online and within our retreat spaces.

1. Website Accessibility

We strive to make our website accessible and usable for as many people as possible by working toward practices such as:

  • clear and readable text

  • thoughtful color contrast

  • mobile responsiveness

  • image descriptions where possible

  • simple navigation structures

  • compatibility with assistive technologies when feasible

Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we recognize there may still be areas that can be improved.

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, we welcome you to reach out so we can support you directly.

2. Retreat Accessibility & Accommodations

We recognize that accessibility is not one-size-fits-all.

Depending on the retreat location and format, we may be able to support accommodations related to:

  • dietary needs

  • sensory needs

  • mobility considerations

  • pacing and rest

  • participation preferences

  • environmental sensitivities

  • other accessibility requests

Some retreat locations - particularly international venues or nature-based settings - may include accessibility limitations outside of our control. We are committed to transparency about those limitations and to collaborating thoughtfully wherever possible.

We encourage participants to reach out with questions or accommodation requests prior to booking so we can help determine whether a particular retreat experience feels supportive and workable for your needs.

3. Ongoing Commitment

We view accessibility as an ongoing practice of listening, learning, and adaptation, not a checklist or static achievement.

We are continually working to create spaces that feel more welcoming, responsive, and humane.

4. Contact
